This letterhead was created as a proposed design for a deceased person of fame. I chose Emily Dickinson to represent because I hold a deep emotional connection to the poems she has written. She is one of my favorite poets - which is why I was surprised to find that her and I shared so much in common. After Dickinson's death, many of her poems were edited and changed before publication do to their sapphic content. She was in love with her sister in law, Susan, and expressed her love through her poetry. But, because of the prejudice of the time against those who were gay, she was forced to keep it a secret - and that secret was kept even after death. I wanted to nod to Dickinson's true self with the floral design I chose. I used the two flowers that represent the LGBTQ+ community - lavender and violets - to create her letterhead. These were also - not so-coincidentally - Dickinson's favorite flowers. I also used her famous line "I'm Nobody Too," a line that communicated Dickinson's disdain for publicity, on her logo. I thought the poetic irony would be perfect to represent such a complex and complicated individual.

Digital Art & Design Association (DADA)

I have served as the Digital Art & Design Association's Creative Director for a year. I helped to revitalize this club in more ways than one. I rebuilt the design and assets from the ground up to develop a sense of style for the club that would be marketable and interesting to other students. When I joined DADA, it was not yet officially a club and was not involved much in the student community. Now - we are an official club that is constantly involved across campus. Our logo and designed content has become popular and recognizable. I've created everything from poster designs to clothing designs - stickers and more. Below you'll find examples of some of these projects. One notable example of my involvement in DADA is the creation of Featured Artist cards. These cards are created monthly and feature 3 different artists from our club on a postcard. These postcards serve as a beautiful art print, marketing for the club, and exposure for the featured artist. I love making ways for the artists in our club to get more involved and to be seen a little more!

This book represents captivating stories excavated from published reports of reputable news sources. It reflects a unique graphic language revealing the period of time in which we live and a museum-like goal of preserving culture. This editorial narrative also serves as a juxtaposition of typographic and image-making systems operating within a historical cache of subject matter to express a personal visual language.
Reunity Advertisement Campaign

This advertisement campaign is centered around a new digital app called "Reunity." The goal of this campaign was to create a sense of style surrounding the company's values and to make the app recognizable as a community building platform. The first task was to create billboards, which are shown here on the left. I created the slogan "rediscover. rebuild. reconnect." to represent the company and its mission. I also created a tryptic, as shown below, to be used ideally in a subway terminal. I also created a short animation to be used on social media as a sample. This would ideally be created into three separate animations to show all parts of the slogan.
